Paver stones may need to be removed and replaced for a variety of reasons. Some pavers may start to sag and proper grade adjustments may need to be made, access to graded utilities may be a concern, or the paver itself may no longer be aesthetically pleasing due to chipping of the material or damage in some way. This clip will show you how to properly remove and replace a damaged paver.

Process:

  • Saturate the joint of the stone(s) with water to loosen the bond.
  • Scrape out the sand surrounding the area.
  • Removed the desired stones and replace with new paver(s).
  • Compact the paver(s) to a level grade, and reapply bonding sand.
  • Finely mist over the area with water to account for settling and achieve a better interlock

Paving stone is a cheapest way to enhance exterior beauty of our home. Paving stones come in many sizes, shape and patterns so it is a very natural thing if you want to change it and place new paving stone. But proper installation of paving stone is very necessary.
